We are proud to present a selection of beautiful paintings by the important Dutch impressionist painter Hendrik Jan Wolter. Wolter has always been a favorite of Douwes Fine Art starting with Evert Douwes VII, who started collecting his works in the 1950's. After acumulating a significant expertise and engagement in and with the artist, Douwes Fine Art organised a large retrospective exhibition for the 100th anniversary of the artist.

Now almost 50 years on we are again proud to present a fantastic selection of his paintings in our exhibition. We look forward to welcoming you in our gallery on the Stadhouderskade 40.
