Notes
Lamplough was a landscape and architectural painter. He studied at the Chester School of Art and travelled to the Continent, the Middle East and North Africa. When he returned to England he lectured at the Leeds School of Art. He has exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Royal Cumbrian Academy, the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool and the Fine Art Society in London.
